From the iconic McLaren Vale 2021 vintage. This wine displays a power and density here not normally found at $30 a bottle. Basket pressed, aged in French oak barriques, with a portion (20%) being new, for a patient 18 months.

Deeply saturated and inky black. Lifted dark plum, blackberry, and enticing liquorice on the nose. An opulent palate featuring rich, dark plum and interwoven liquorice flavours. Fresh blackberry notes, subtly toasted vanillin cedar and dried herbal nuances that lie beneath gently beneath the surface. Fine grained tannins, bright youthful acidity, and a long finish. Great wine.
