"Deep, full ruby-red, lighter on edge. This wine has a full and powerful nose, ripe aromas of plums, blackberry jam, entwined with savoury, meaty nuances, spice, vanillin and sweet tobacco. Full-bodied, a savoury entry with concentration and density on the palate, blackberries, plums at core melded with dried herb, liquorice, unfolding meat and peppercorn, vanilla and tobacco. The wine is mouth-filling with a rich cocoa tannin structure, breadth and depth of flavours. Power and spice lend a long, dry, savoury finish. This rich, well-rounded Barossa Shiraz with power and strength, showing classic varietal, fine-textured mouthfeel and length.
