"Soft, comforting woody spice, ripe plum flesh, raspberry jus, cool McLaren mineral spine, a touch of coconut toast and perfumed purple florals. Still medium to full: cool, plush red fruit with steely edges, but comforting with familiarity and gentle tannins. It’s a warm hug, a set of flannel sheets on a cool night. Solid and reliable yet again."
90 Points Nick Stock James Suckling Wine Ratings
"Earthy, with plenty of ripe dark berries and plums, as well as blueberries and perfumed florals (this has a sliver of white grapes, too). The palate has density and depth and focuses inwards with a dark-plum and sanguine edge to the tannins, abundant ripe berries and a bold finish. Almost Italianate tannins here. Quite long. Drink or hold."
