Pretty Paddock Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019
Gold NZ Wine of the Year Awards 2019
Gold NZ International Wine Show 2019
Silver Marlborough Wine Show 2019
Silver New Zealand Aromatic Wine Competition 2019
This wine has layers of appealing flavours, lifted citrus aromas of ripe lime, grapefruit and riper passionfruit and blackcurrant. This is complemented by mineral notes of oyster shell and wet stone. The palate has a refreshing and elegant acidity, with lovely fruit weight giving an appealingly full palate. It has a rich mineral saltiness that leads through to a pleasant and lingering finish and leaves you wanting more.

Grey Ridge Central Otago Pinot Noir 2015
Over the last 20 years we have seen the growth in the quality and the love for the 'Central Wine’ explode. This wine represents a number of the reasons for that growth.
The lovely cherry bomb of Central Otago smoothness that wraps itself around your senses and forces you to ‘unquestionably want’ another glass. Medium in colour, with a nose full of cherry ripeness which leads to a beautifully balanced palate, which seduces and charms.
Great drinking now and well into late 2020 early 2021.
Small production, so not a regular on the show circuit. We cannot recommend this stunner enough.
It is our “Pinot Noir Buy of The Year” to date.
Silver Medal Bragato Wine Competition
A little note: When you compare this wine, with many of the usual suspects at this price point it simply leaves them in its wake. Those who like screaming at Meg, walking the Devil's Staircase, counting to Two and the Rabbits on the Ranch will be HUGE fans of this wine very quickly.

The Ramsay Central Otago Chardonnay 2015
18/20 Raymond Chan Wine Reviews. He said...
"... The nose is elegantly proportioned and presented with softly concentrated aromas of white and yellow stonefruits interwoven with mealy elements, subtle buttery oak detail, hints of creamy barrel-ferment...Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has gently rich and soft flavours of white and yellow stonefruits entwined with subtle creamy barrel-ferment and nutty oak notes forming an elegantly concentrated heart. The mouthfeel is soft and fine-textured...This is a gently rich Chardonnay with elegance and concentrated flavours of stonefruit, mealy notes and nutty oak with a fine-textured line... 18.0/20 Jun 2018..."
Now nearly 18 months later this wine gets a straight up 5 Star Rating from us. “It is one of the best Chardonnays from Central Otago in terms of both quality and value on the market.” Primo Vino

What a Deal Deal Deal
Black Barn Hawkes Bay 2017 Sauvignon Blanc
This plush 2017 Sauvignon is a real stunner and a great example of premium Hawkes Bay Sauvignon Blanc. This generous wine is normally only available at the cellar door and from Black Barn's restaurant. Its lovely palate weight, classic zestiness, tangy citrus flavours and long lush finish really stand out. A wine of this class, at this price is seldom on the market. If a change from the acidity of the Marlborough version is needed or just a change full stop, this great buy is it.

Heading for the Right Selection
Beach House The Selection Chardonnay 2018
5 Stars 93/100 Wine Orbit
This wine has really developed over the last few months. Filling out into a lovely big, rounded style with lots of fruit generosity and supported by toasty oak. It received a 100% malolactic fermentation in French Oak and is growing into a stunner. Drinking well now with the ability to only get better.

94 Point Tony Key. The Key Report
"Shows distinct Viognier aromas - orange blossom and apricot - but tamed by Marsanne's citrus and touch of acidity. very attractive, complex bouquet, honey and spices, toasted nuts. The palate is rich and unctuous, soft and silky textured with sweet fruit galore lifted by a well-managed hint of residual sugar. It's well-balanced and a real crowd pleaser. Amazing value." "Deep purple in colour. Ripe cassis and black plum fruits on the nose with violets. Varietally fruit-driven. Palate, with cassis and dark berry fruit and spice flavours. Soft tannins compliment the fruit with mouth-filling generous finish." The winery sums it up brilliantly

No Sticky Mess Here
Beach House Hawkes Bay Noble Chardonnay 2016 375ml Bottle
A Henry's Pic Top Buy
One of our best-selling desert wines in a very long time. Not only is it great to drink it must be the best Sticky deal in years and years and years.
A long and arduous fermentation has given rise to a very tasty sticky indeed. Flavours of orange blossom, ripe pineapple and citrus rind overwhelm the senses. The wine is honeyed and mellifluous across the palate flowing pleasantly to a silky soft finish.

Little Giant Barossa Shiraz 2017
93 pts & Top Value Campbell Mattinson
5 Stars 94/100 Sam Kim "Gratifying and terrific drinking."
"Barossa Shiraz. Hard to go wrong, and you certainly won’t here. This is an amazingly good buying/drinking option. So dark, so supple, so polished. Boom, as the wannabe cool kids say. Violet, clove, plum and sweet spice. The bounce of boysenberry. Sweet fruit galore. It’s not overly dark in colour terms but it tastes like ink, if that makes sense. It feels good in the mouth but it also feels ready to explode. When people ask me, “What’s A Good Shiraz”? This is now my recommendation.” Campbell Mattinson
Campbell Mattinson has got it absolutely spot on. Polished, highly drinkable, a real cellar candidate as well. It could be the 2019 Barossa find of the year.

Beer Boneface Boneface The Unit NZ IPA
Boneface are massive up and comers in the Craft beer world. This beer shows all their class and style off beautifully.
"The unit is our version of NZ Hopped I.P.A. With hints of grapefruit, passion-fruit & spicy citrus, backed up with those hop aromas only found in Aotearoa, it seems a lot for one beer, but it ain't called The Unit for nothing!" say Boneface themselves. ‘Too Right’ we say.
