"52% Coonawarra cabernet, 27% Barossa cabernet and 21% Barossa shiraz, open-fermented with wild yeast (three days) then cultured yeast. Bright, deep crimson-purple; the bouquet instantly semaphores a glorious profusion of cassis, blackberry and black cherry fruits, flavours which are precisely mirrored by the palate. But it's the way this beautiful wine caresses the mouth that is so special, the tannins polished, the oak judged to perfection."
"This is the first vintage of Yalumba’s new Cabernet/Shiraz-based flagship wine. Deep garnet in colour, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon / Shiraz The Caley offers expressive baked blackberries, cherry cordial and blackcurrant jelly notes with suggestions of Chinese five spice, cedar and anise. The palate is built like a brick house, delivering a solid structure of firm, grainy tannins and plenty of freshness to support and complement the voluptuous, full-bodied flesh. It offers a very long, layered finish with lingering exotic spice and black berry preserves notes. Give it 3-5 more years in bottle and drink it over the next twenty-five." "The colour is dense and profound; the aroma is initially toasty oak then mocha, chocolate, fruit-cake, raspberry with spices, tar and graphite also chiming in. there’s lot of very fine, supple tannins and a massive body. Very Eden Valley; very opulent and hedonistic."

This wine has been our most popular best value for money Sauvignon Blanc over the last 11 months. This is the last of it and we are giving the fans of this little beauty until the end of the month to get this wine at this very silly price.
Classical Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc: passionfruit, capsicum and tropical fruit with lovely racy acidity. Very moreish.

96 Points 5 Stars James Halliday's Wine Companion 2019....
"There's a spread of this wine that is beyond the norm. It hits and flows, in a satisfying way, but when it hits what might be the finish it fans out impressively. The extra kick of flavour - you could simply call it 'quality'- that we're all hoping for but rarely receive; it's on beautiful display here..."

Very dense, ruby colour with dense aromas of black-fruits, dark chocolate and rich ripe red plums.
The palate is concentrated, rich and full bodied. Layers of ripe dark berries, black Doris plums and dark chocolate coat the mouth then lead to a silky smooth texture with a long sustained finish.
Great now with cellaring potential of 4 years plus.

"Moderately deep, dark ruby-red colour with youthful purple hues, lighter on rim...Nuances of thyme herbs, spicy, nutty oak and violet perfumes add detail and interest. Like a Video Game; Tastes Great
Gran Tesoro Campo de Borja Spain Garnacha 2014
Return of the Little Charmer
A lovely Spanish Garnacha (Grenache) that has body and charm to burn. There is real palate weight and character in this wine. Juicy deep, red brambly fruit, plum and berry. Sweet and mouthfilling spice with a long smooth and enticing pallet with a great long finish. Soft and very approachable.
