"In the process of getting our hands on Bouldevines, Cuisine # 1, Riesling 2009 we were offered this absolute bargain that we were unable to pass up. Also at the dryer end of the Riesling spectrum this is just starting to show some of those wonderful bottle aged characters with lime marmalade, honey and a touch of toast showing through the classic Riesling citrus fruits. The richness on the palate defies the super low price point and makes this the best Riesling buy we have seen for a good number of years..."

"I don’t expect much from wines under $15, so it was a surprise to find I’d given a healthy rating to a Pinot Gris with a fairly diminutive price tag. Tiffin Hill is a small family vineyard in the Gladstone area of Wairarapa. This is a concentrated wine with character. Strong nashi pear, root ginger and bready yeast lees flavours are supported by crisp acidity to give a pleasantly drying finish.
